CDBG-R Substantial Amendment
CDBG-R Substantial Amendment to
the
FY 2008 Annual Action Plan
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
The City of Bowling Green has made substantial amendments to its FY 2008 Annual Action Plan to include the use of funds through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The City of Bowling Green, an entitlement community, will receive approximately $81,521 in ARRA funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for housing and non-housing community development activities.
The Annual Action Plan is the planning document that addresses overall community development and housing needs and citizen participation is essential to the City’s involvement in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) CDBG Program. ARRA funds will be used to address the housing, job and non-housing community development needs of low-income citizens. Housing needs include emergency housing repairs and rental housing rehabilitation. Non-housing community development needs include public services and public improvements.
