The application must be completed and returned to the Personnel Department by the deadline established in the advertisement. FULL-TIME AND NON-TEMPORARY PART-TIME POSITIONS

 

 

HOUSING SPECIALIST

CITY OF BOWLING GREEN, OHIO

 (Pay Band 3: $21.09 -$26.99/hour)

 

Hourly, non-exempt, full-time classification is responsible for utilizing Federal and State funding to the extent that full maximization and regulatory compliance is obtained for the benefit of qualified citizens and the improvement of the infrastructure of Bowling Green. Manages and administers all housing programs, including all down-payment, rehabilitation and fair housing programs.  Prepares payment drawdown requests, federal and state status/closeout reports; makes public presentations and prepares information; performs on-site inspections of housing projects; prepares computer generated cost estimates and specifications for housing projects; performs underwriting, loan closings, mortgage recording, processing of subordination and pay-off requests; maintains housing program files; tracks and maintains outcome-based and demographic data for housing activities; performs marketing duties for all housing programs; provides additional support for office coverage, transit identification card preparation, fund reconciliation, IDIS, transit data management, report preparation for transit, housing and other grant-funded programs. Four-year college certificate or equivalent in construction-related area; strong understanding of all Lead Paint Abatement standards and a willingness/ability to obtain a Lead Paint Abatement certification and Lead Paint Risk Assessor licensure; three to five years of relevant experience; a valid Ohio Driver’s License and the ability to drive. The Bowling Green City Pool and Water Park is seeking Aquatic Assistant Managers, a Swim Program Director, Concession Staff, Swim Aides, certified Lifeguards, and certified WSI Instructors to join its 2015 summer staff.  Pay Range $8.10 - $11.00 per hour depending on position. These are part-time, temporary positions without fringe benefits.Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends from mid-May to mid-September. PART-TIME SEASONAL PARK LABORER - MAINTENANCE

 

The City of Bowling Green’s Parks & Recreation Department is seeking qualified, dependable individuals for its part-time, seasonal maintenance staff.  Pay Range $8.10 - $11.25 per hour, no fringe benefits.   Must be able to work flexible schedule up to 40 hours per week for the full term of the temporary employment including evening and weekends. Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.  Experience with building custodial, grounds, aquatic facility, small tractor and/or softball field maintenance beneficial. Employment will be through a temporary agency.  Individuals hired will not be City of Bowling Green employees.  Temp agency applications are available in the Personnel Department at 304 N. PROGRAMMER (FITNESS & KIWANIS KIDS CLUB) - $8.10/HOUR

Part-time, temporary position(s) staffed through a temporary/leasing agency; no fringe benefits.  This position is responsible for assisting patrons; staffing at the Kiwanis Kids Club and maintaining/cleaning the Bowling Green Training and Community Center (TACC). Ensures safety/satisfaction of patrons; enforces safety rules. Knowledge of community center staffing and fitness programming, and related services preferred.  Individuals selected will not be City employees.  Applications are available here or in the City’s Personnel Dept.
