DISPATCHER

BOWLING GREEN POLICE DIVISION

 

(Starting Pay:  $19.69 per hour)

 

The City of Bowling Green is accepting applications for the hourly position of Police Dispatcher.  The job description is available here. Must be a high school graduate, with good verbal skills, and type 35-40 wpm.  Selected candidate will be required to learn Federal & State regulations governing transmission by radio and teletype; must learn operation of radio console and computer terminal; must have knowledge of the geography of the City; must be available to work any shift or holiday; and must be able to work overtime.  Qualified candidates must complete an application that is available here or in the Personnel Department of the City of Bowling Green, 304 North Church, Bowling Green, OH  43402. FINANCE DEPARTMENT

 

 (Pay Band 1:  $12.85 – $17.86 Per Hour)

Full-time, non-bargaining hourly position responsible for processing paperwork for purchase of materials/supplies, and documenting of receivables. Enters, prints and distributes purchase orders; prepares vendor expense invoices for processing; enters vendor invoice data into accounts payable program for payment; processes expense/accounts payable checks; maintains fixed assets and reporting; prepares receipts for daily receivables; runs payables/receivables reports; prepares bank deposits; reconciles bank statements; files; responds to inquiries. Two-year college certificate or equivalent; three to five years relevant experience.  Job description is available here.   PROGRAMMER (FITNESS & KIWANIS KIDS CLUB) - $8.10/HOUR

 

 

Part-time, temporary position(s) staffed through a temporary/leasing agency; no fringe benefits.  This position is responsible for assisting patrons; staffing at the Kiwanis Kids Club and maintaining/cleaning the Bowling Green Training and Community Center (TACC). Ensures safety/satisfaction of patrons; enforces safety rules. SPECIAL PROGRAMMER - VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

 

Rate of Pay: $10.00 - 12.00 per hour

 

 

Seeking to staff part-time temporary Volunteer Coordinator to recruit and manage volunteers for the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department.   Relevant volunteer management related experience required.  Must be able to work a flexible schedule consisting of 10-20 hours of work per week.  Position could require some evenings and/or weekends and there may be times seasonally when no hours are required.  Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license.  Employment will be through a temporary hiring agency.  Individuals will not be employees of the City of Bowling Green.  Applications are available here and in the Personnel Department at 304 North Church Street, BG, OH or online at  (Résumés alone are unacceptable.)
