Black Swamp Summer Volleyball Challenge

Location: Bowling Green Community Center and Bowling Green Middle School

Dates: June 26-28

Team Fees: $200 Freshman Team / $200 Junior Varsity Team / $300 Varsity Team

(Add $50 to team registration if submitted after 5/18)

High School based volleyball teams will participate in two days of pool play and one day of tournament play. Games are held at either the Bowling Green Middle School or the Bowling Green Community Center. Number of games per team depend on the number of teams registered. Adult Sand Volleyball Leagues

Location: Carter Park Sand Volleyball Courts

Leagues: Begin the week of June 4

Women's 4x4 Tuesday

Men's 4x4 Tuesday

Coed 6x6 Wednesday

Coed 4x4 Thursday

Team Fees: $155 / team ($35 Non-Resident / Non-Resident player, if not already paid in 2013)

Each league consists of 10 regular season games and a double elimination tournament at the season end. Teams may be participating in double headers during the regular season. Coed Teams must have at least two males and two females playing at all times. Entire team fee is due Monday, May 20. Team representatives may pick up schedules and rules on Wednesday, May 29 beginning at 6:00 pm at the BG Community Center. Click here for the flyer

4th Annual BG Beach Bum Sand Volleyball Tournament

Location: Carter Park Sand Volleyball Courts

Ages: 18 and over

Date: Saturday, July 20

Team Fees: $60 / 4x4 team $80 / 6x6 team

The 4th Annual BG Beach Bum Adult Sand Volleyball Tournament is a one day event. Divisions will consist of 4 v 4 Coed and 6 v 6 Coed. Teams will receive 3 games of pool play and top teams in their pool will compete in a single elimination playoff bracket. Rules will be posted on the website. "Early Bum" team registration (before July 1st), will include t-shirts and goody bags for team members. Teams who register for the BGPR league and the BG Beach Bum Tournament and pay in full before 5/20/13 can take $10 off of their BG Beach Bum Tournament team entry.

Drop In sports are FREE for Community Center Pass Holders.

If you do not have a pass you can purchase a day pass.

League Player Fees

ALL Adult League participants living outside Bowling Green City limits are required to pay a $35 non-resident fee per Calendar Year (Jan.-Dec.)

If you live inside the city limits of Bowling Green our sports programs are FREE to play.(This does not include league fees)

If you own a Community Center Non-resident pass our sports programs are FREE to play even if you live outside the city limits. (This does not include a Corporate Community Center Pass and does not include league fees.)

A new registration form must be filled out each calendar year if you are participating in a league. We encourage participants to pre-register at the Community Center before your league begins. However, participants can still register on site. Download the form below and beat the rush on opening day! You can also fax the form to 419-353-6535 or mail it to 1245 W.
