Inspections

The Engineering Division performs inspection on the following types of projects:

• All City construction projects developed by the Engineering Division.
• All work performed within the City Right-of-Way.
• Any private construction projects for residential subdivisions, commercial sites, industrial sites, etc. which involve City Infrastructure and Utilities.

The Engineering Division performs inspection on the following types of construction:

• Waterline
• Sanitary Sewer
• Storm Sewer
• Pavement
• Sidewalks

We do not perform inspection on the following types of construction:

• Electric
• Telephone, Cable or other communication lines
• Building including Commercial, Industrial or Residential (All Building Inspection is performed by the Wood County Building Inspector.)
