Elected Officials
Bowling Green is a Charter City. According to Section 1.02
of the City Charter: "Except as prohibited by the constitution of this
state or restricted by this charter, the City of Bowling Green shall
have and may exercise all municipal powers, functions, rights,
privileges, and immunities of every name and nature whatsoever."
The Mayor
is the City's Chief Executive Officer. The legislative branch is
represented by City Council.
