Youth Volleyball League

Bowling Green Parks and Recreation will be holding a youth volleyball league for children in grades 4 through 6.  The league will consist of Tuesday evening practices and Saturday games. Practices will begin on March 6th and games will begin on March 24^th.  Pre-season skills clinics are available for those who sign up on or before the day of the clinics (Feb. 22^nd and March 1^st from 6:00-8:30PM).  Volunteer coaches are needed for this program.  Coaches will be trained through the NYSCA program on one of two dates:  February 29^th or March 1st from 6-8pm.  Trainer volleyballs will be used and players are required to bring knee pads and a clean pair of tennis shoes.  Each participant will receive a t-shirt.  Registration is $45 for residents of the City of Bowling Green and $53 for non-residents.  The registration deadline is February 25^th, 2012, however spots may fill earlier.  Participants are encouraged to register early.  Register at the Bowling Green Community Center, 1245 W.
